Troubled by the cruise ship's vague explanation, Darcy uses her cover as a travel reporter to investigate further. The last person Gage McKenna expects to see during his summer aboard a cruise ship leading adventure excursions is Darcy.
And in typical Darcy fashion, she's digging up more trouble. He'd love to just forget her--but something won't let him. And he can't help but worry about her as they are heading into more remote regions of Alaska and eventually into foreign waters. Something sinister is going on, and the deeper they push, the more Gage fears they've only discovered the tip of the iceberg.
It's difficult to stop yourself from peeking ahead to the end, but the ride is worth the anxiety. I loved catching up with the McKenna family. England, But when the true identity of his lover is laid bare, Ashland must face the demons in his past in order to safeguard both his lady—and his heart.

Intrigued by the mystery, Emily ignores all warnings and begins a search that ultimately takes her to Blackthorn Manor. It is there a new danger, one she did not anticipate, presents itself. The year before John Stover wrote it, a friend of his had a heart attack and two days later, a triple bypass surgery. Seeing someone he cares about go through that experience influenced the author in ways related to the book.
It put things in perspective. The island of Manhattan has lost its outer edges to flooding and is now ringed by a large seawall. The darkness and isolation have allowed crime and sin to thrive in the never-ending shadows of the once great city, and when the sun finally begins to reappear, everything gets worse. A serial killer cuts a bloody swath across the city during the initial periods of daylight, and a violent panic sweeps through crowds on the streets.
The Manhattan police, riddled with corruption and apathy, are at a loss. That's when the Mayor recruits Jon Phillips, a small-town Pennsylvania cop who had just single-handedly stopped a high-profile serial killer in his own area, and flies him into the insanity of this new New York City. The young detective is partnered with a shady older cop and begins to investigate the crimes amidst the vagaries of a twenty-four hour nightlife he has never experienced before.
Soon realizing that he was chosen for reasons other than what he was told, Jon is left with no one to trust and forced to go on the run in the dark streets, and below them in the maze of the underground.
Against all odds he still hopes that he can save his own life, the woman of his dreams, and maybe even the whole city before the arrival of the mysterious and dreaded event that has come to be known as The fourth instalment of the highly praised Toby Daye series.
Okay seriously, I don't think I'll live if I have to wait for the next book. Falon was a wonderful, kickass, funny, sarcastic MC.
Shadowed drops us right into the action, being the second book in the Heart of a Warrior series, and just keeps running. It was the perfect blend of action, romance, reality, and faith. And quite honestly it was just a dang good read! Shadowed by Dani Pettrey is a prequel novella to the Alaskan Courage series making the reader privy to how the McKennas parents met and fell in love a story they would never tell their children. This book gave me so much and Im not sure how I feel about it.
Shadowed by Grace is the first in a stirring new series of stand-alone historical suspense novels by acclaimed author Cara C. Shadowed - Ebook written by Rebecca Zanetti.
Great Book While listening you will forget that it is a Christian book with underlying Biblical Principles and Godly messages about the future. I can promise that Shadowed will not let you down. If you are new to the Dark Protectors series I would highly suggest starting from the very beginning.
Mourn and organize! This book is a gift to anyone curious about or deeply interested in material culture, history, social change, and. Jane Whaley's Word of Faith Fellowship in North Carolina, shadowed by allegations it is a dangerous cult evading justice, is the subject of Broken. Rebecca Zanetti Book List.
Deep Ops. Paul relishes his job and is good at it. The Shadowed Mind is the second book in a new trilogy by Julie Cave. Dinah Harris, a former FBI agent, is picking up the pieces of her life when she receives a phone call from a detective she d worked with on her last case from the first book Deadly Disclosures.
In my opinion, it is better than the first book though I do recommend reading them in order. Dinah Harris is a deeply intricate character that captures and holds the attention of the reader. The protagonist is a hero who risks his life to save the believers and overthrow the ban on religion while the antagonist is a frighteningly believable opponent who is more interested in power and revenge than the ideology he once believed in.
Harriet Klausner. I enjoyed each book very much, but this one I liked the best. I blew through this one in about 4 days, which is pretty fast for me. The concept of a futuristic one-world government is written well by the author. The idea of a banishment of all religion is quickly approaching, at least from a Christian stand-point because we are "judgemental" and "intollerable" Well, forgive us for being honest. I liked the resolution of this series and I think that this trilogy had me hooked and more interested than the first 3 books in the Left Behind series.
I liked LB alot also, I am not one of those bashers, but I thought that this story-line was more gripping than that one, at least the first books of it. I hope to see more from Mr. He is an easy read, but that just means I can get through them faster and have more time to read more stories. Jenkins Kindle. Posting Komentar.
